CNC Machinist

Job Description:

The employee will be performing various job duties including but not limited to following:

  • CNC Milling or Lathe or Gundrill Operator
  • CNC Machine Operator and set up Technician: will include the set-up and monitoring of 1 or more machines on a priority basis. The technician will be required to move from machine to machine
  • Verify dimensions of machined parts and products using micrometers, Vernier’s, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM) or other precision measuring instruments.
  • Working in a high precision environment and contributing to maintaining the specification of design and quality.
  • Work in a team environment
  • Work with established TGM standards and practices
  • Complete work that you are responsible for in a timely and productive manner

  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • Salary range: Depends on experience
  • Working hours: 40 hours of work per week plus overtime availability.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of College diploma or University Degree is required.
  • 2 years of CNC Machining experience.
  • Mechanical ability and understanding of engineering principles.
  • Ability to multitask, operate multiple machines at a time.
  • Understanding and experience with live tooling.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
